How are you doing lately?
Running Sweeney’s Blogs over these last six and a half years has been such an incredible experience and is something I have no plans on stopping anytime soon. I only realised the other day that I haven’t done an update blog on the page for a while, so here’s me fixing that today.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
If you’ve been following the page for a while, you know how I work. I’m very much an open book kind of person, trying to keep you all in the loop as much as I can with the different things that are happening with my life. These updates are a great way of having some chilled, honest time, where I share spome of my thoughts about the page and plans for the future.
I shared back in April that I left my previous role, and have spent the last couple of months on the job hunt. While the job market isn’t in the best of places for the comms world at the moment, I’m very confident that I’ll figure out my next steps soon and will be back to growing my career in the direction that I want it to move in next 🙂
What these last couple of weeks have given me is more time to pause, reflect and reassess how everything has gone over the last couple of years. When it comes to Sweeney’s Blogs, I couldn’t be happier with how much progress, how much of an impact and how much we’ve grown since we first started back in 2019, it’s pretty crazy to think about.
Over the summer, I’m going to spend a bit of time planning ahead with the page. I think we’re doing a solid job of everything so far. I just want to make sure that we carry on covering the topics that really matter to people and making as much of a difference as we can moving forward. I’m not sure what shape that’s going to take as of yet, but I’ll let you know if anything changes.
