Good morning everyone,
I hope you’re having a lovely start to the week 🙂
I have always been fascinated by the concept of storytelling, whether it is a business that is sharing its story or somebody exploring the vast possibilities of the world, I believe that there is such art in the stories that we tell, which is exactly what we are going to be exploring in today’s blog.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
There are currently over 8.1 billion people on the planet, which in and of itself is a truly remarkable number. When you break down how each of these 8.1 billion people have their own passions, interests and hobbies, they all face and overcome their own challenges, it really starts to get a bit crazy when you think about it.

This is where the art of storytelling really starts to take its own shine, in how each of these people all have their own stories to tell, but not only this, but they have their own ways in which they share them. Over the last couple of months, I’ve started to get massively back into reading books, and I’ll be honest, it has been a game changer for how I view the world around me.
You see, I have always been a massive fan of fiction and fantasy books, the books that dare to breach through the realms of what we deem to be ‘possible’ and explore the vast void of ‘what if’. I currently work in PR, and I strongly believe that for people who work in the creative industry, such as myself, reading these kinds of books is vitally important, which is something that I’ll explore in a lot more depth in future posts.

Back to the topic at hand, each and every person on the planet is different in some shape or form – whether it is the topics that interest you, the people that you have met and formed relationships with, the cultures and beliefs that you have adapted and been a part of, all of these and more culminate into making the person that you are today.
There is only one of you out there, which is something that you should actively, celebrate, appreciate and embrace it’s not something to be embarrassed or ashamed about. Of course, as people, we are constantly growing, with each new person or experience that we meet having an impact on our lives in its own shape or form.

So, with all of that being said, use this blog as your internal reminder that you have your own life, your own experiences and your own developments that have all helped to turn you into who you are today. We all have a story to tell, the question that arises now is, are you ready to start sharing yours?
That’s all for today’s blog, what do you think? Are you a fan of storytelling? Do you share your story with others? What sort of topics would you like to see me explore on the page going forward?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and answers to the above questions 🙂
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!
