Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
Over the last year or so, we’ve been taking a deeper dive into the world of philosophy, exploring how different ethical theories impact what we deem to be the morally correct action to take in life. The normative theory of “Utilitarianism” is one of the larger known concepts, which focuses morality on the actions or decisions that generate the maximum ‘utility’ or happiness.
