Turning 25…

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you’re having a lovely start to the week 🙂

Yesterday was my birthday, where I turned 25 years old! I’m now over a quarter of a century – I don’t look it, I know 😉. In today’s blog, we’ll be taking a look at some of my thoughts surrounding this special day!

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

Every birthday, I like to take a couple of minutes to reflect on the people, lessons and experiences that have shaped me into who I am today. I have slowly started to see that everything happens for a reason – in life, it’s not necessarily about the cards that we are played, it’s how you react to them that is the most important factor in where your journey is headed.

If the last couple of years have taught me anything, it’s that we have no idea what is coming next 🤷‍♂️

The last 25 years have been filled with so many amazing memories, milestones and celebrations, it’s been crazy. Whether it has been jumping out of a plane, surviving a life-threatening operation, moving away to university or even learning how to drive, there have been so many fantastic (and sometimes chaotic) moments!

Looking ahead, I can’t wait to see all of the opportunity, challenges and spaces to grow. I’m going to do all that I can to live my life to the fullest. Whether that’s writing my own book, travelling to different countries or even going to see musicians/comedians perform live, it’s going to be a very enlightening and fascinating learning curve, that’s for sure.

Before I close off, I want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you for your kind words and support – I couldn’t be doing this without all of you ❤️💙

A massive happy birthday to me! 25 years already, how has that happened then?!

Let’s see what Chapter 25 has in store then… 👀

That’s all for today’s blog, what do you think? What’s something that you have celebrated lately? How’s your week ahead looking?

I’d love to hear your thoughts ⤵️

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!
