Happy May Bank Holiday Weekend!

I hope you’re all keeping well 🙂

The first May Bank Holiday has arrived already, can you believe it?! I love using these long weekends to switch off and relax before returning to our normal lives next week. We’re going to be taking a look at some of my thoughts for this bank holiday in today’s blog.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

The long weekend is here, and with it comes what looks to be a lovely couple of days weather-wise. I couldn’t quite believe it when I opened my bedroom curtains and saw the sun shining this morning – that’s how you know it’s the start of a very well-deserved chilled weekend.

I feel like over the last couple of weeks, I have started to feel a little bit drained and in need of some downtime. I haven’t taken much time off work as of late, however, this is something that I have planned to resolve moving forward – I’ve got a lovely long break penciled into the diary, as soon as I get the all-clear that I can take the days off work, I’ll make some plans and will share them with you all.

So, what are my plans for these next three days?

If I’m honest, I haven’t planned on doing too much, however, here are a couple of things that are on my list:

⚽ – I’m going to go and watch my brother play football today, before heading back to the pub for a couple of drinks

👨‍💻 – I’m going to prewrite some blogs ready for next weekend, as I’m off for a little break with some of my amazing friends

📚 – I’m going to start reading my 25th book of the year, which I’m sure is going to be a great one

🚶‍♂️ – I’m hopefully going to be able to go for a nice stroll around my local beach, as long as the weather stays sunny
