What to look for in a Blog?

Last week I had the honour of writing a blog for the Marketing Agency, Nautilus Marketing. The blog was part of a blog trade that me and Tom Jauncey, the director of Nautilus Marketing, made! Tom’s blog was this weeks “What do we mean by Success?” post! We’ll be looking at the blog that I wrote for Nautilus today!

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

Today’s blog is all about the blog that I wrote called, “What to look for in a Blog?”, for Nautilus Marketing! The blog takes a look at what we mean by the terms, blog and blog page, tips and tricks for creating and maintaining a successful blog page, what to avoid doing and much much more!

With there being more than 500 million active blogs spanning across the world in 2019, a number which is continuing to grow moving into 2020, standing out as a Blogger can be a very difficult thing to do. I have been blogging on this page now for over a year, approaching a year and a half, and I have learned some really valuable lessons in that time.

If you have been following my page for a while now, or have gone back to look at some of my earlier work, you will see that the style that I sue for writing has dramatically changed for the better. It is true that in life practice does make perfect and that is the exact same for blogging. I am in no way a ‘perfect blogger’ by any means, but I have come a lot further than where I was at the start.

I use the blog that I wrote for Nautilus as a way to share the lessons that I have learned. Blogging is a style of creative writing that is constantly evolving, and if we do not evolve with it then eventually we may get left behind. Keeping up to date with how the media style changes and adapts is key when moving forward in the industry.
