London Art Fair

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you’re all having a fantastic start to the week! 🙂

On Saturday, I headed over to Islington in London, to go and see the London Art Fair. The Fair itself was absolutely fantastic, and that’s what we are going to be looking at in today’s blog!

Hello & Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

Art is just amazing, wouldn’t you agree? Having the ability to express how you are feeling and what you are thinking in a creative style can pave the way for such inventive and intuitive ideas & artwork, it’s breathtaking!!

On Saturday, we and my mates Ben & Will headed over to Islington in London, to visit the London Art Fair. I hadn’t been to an Art Fair before, so did not really know what to expect, but the whole experience was eye-opening. As soon as we stepped foot inside the Fair, we could see hundreds and hundreds of different art projects, from a range of different styles, all on prime display for everyone to see and appreciate.

The event had so many really unique and thought-provoking posts that were a sheer pleasure to see. An added bonus was that a lot of the artists themselves were there, and you could have chats with them if you wanted. I tried to talk to as many of them as I could, and it was brilliant to see the passion that they had for their work come out instantly.

Above is a slideshow of a couple of the photos that I took, I took around 40-50 in general, so only chose a few for this post, but if people would be interested in seeing more, I would more than happily upload them here for you 🙂

I’ve got to say, I was super impressed with the Art Fair, I’m going to try and go to visit some more of them when I can in the future – they really help you feel inspired to do more work.

London Art Fair, you were amazing – I will see you next time!

That’s all for today’s blog, what do you think? Are you a fan of art? What sort of things do you like to go and see? How is your week ahead looking?

Be sure to let me know your answers to the above questions, either in the comments below or through our Facebook page!
