2023, What a Year for Sweeney’s Blogs!

2023 came to an end over a week ago now, but what a year it turned out to be for the page! I like to do these annual wrap-up style blogs as a way to reflect over the past 12 months, as we look ahead to whatever it is that 2024 has in store for us all. So, without further ado, let’s get into my blogging journey throughout 2023.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

2023 is over at long last. I can’t say that I was sad to see the year come to an end, as it was an incredibly testing time for me and my family, however, 2023 proved to be a very good one for the page. Looking back over the year, we’ve explored a load of topics, we’ve had new readers from across the globe, we’ve started to delve deeper into different cultures and so much more.

How did Sweeney’s Blogs do in 2023?

As you can see from the list above, 2023 was a fantastic year for the page and I could not be happier with how the page is doing! It’s been an absolute honour watching the page grow so much over the last couple of years, I cannot believe that it is coming up to its fifth anniversary this February, it blows my mind!

What topics have we looked at in 2022?

Over the last 12 months, we have covered so many different topics here on the page, including:

Grief and the Loss of Loved Ones
Philosophy and Ethics
Wellbeing Concepts from across the World
Kindness
Literature and Culture
Technology

The list does well and truly go on, it has been one fascinating year, content-wise on the page. I am a very naturally curious person, so it has been a sheer pleasure to have been able to explore so many enlightening and thought-provoking topics with you all. I’m really looking forward to seeing where the page goes heading into 2024 🙂

Closing Thoughts

Looking ahead to the new year, I’m going to try and get some extra guest writers/blogs here on the page. I feel like they do such a good job of shining a spotlight on different perspectives, topics and experiences, which is what this page is all about at the end of the day. If you, or anybody that you know, may be interested in writing for the page, be sure to let me know, you’d/they’d be more than welcome 🙂

Well, I think it’s safe to say that 2023 was an excellent year for the page! Before I close off today’s blog, I just want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you that has helped the page along its journey so far – I couldn’t do this without all of you and I do really appreciate all of the support!
