Poetry has always been a fantastic outlet for me to understand and add context to my thoughts, feelings and my internal monologue. Whenever I would have trouble putting things into words, I commonly found that the whole process was far easier when I instead tried to turn it into a poem, the whole experience was so much easier.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
I’ve been reflecting a lot on how I manage my stress levels, when I reminded myself of how I used to use poetry a lot when I was growing up. I’ll admit, I haven’t written any new poems for a short while, but it is definitely something that I am keen on getting back into again as we head into the future.
