Inspiration can be anything, anywhere…

I hope you’re having a wonderful bank holiday Monday:)

Two weeks ago, I was driving home from Suffolk with Kyle, a good friend of mine, following a group weekend away with the Undefinable Community in Suffolk. The conversation reminded me of a powerful lesson, that we could all do with reminding of from time to time, which we’re going to be taking a look at in today’s blog.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

We were talking about all sorts, from Kung Fu Panda to our jobs, singing a killer Elvis medley and belting Love Shack by the B52s. Kyle is such an easy person to talk to, and when it comes to finding people you can bounce ideas and thoughts off of, I can’t think of anybody better equipped for it than him.

The journey home was crazy, in the best possible way, and it highlighted how unpredictable life can be. I wasn’t originally supposed to be dropping Kyle home, however, as there were train strikes, it was going to be really difficult for him to get home. It was about a six-hour journey home from Suffolk for me, and taking a slight detour to drop Kyle off only added around 20 minutes or so to the trip, so it was a no-brainer to offer!

After dropping Kyle off, I had so many ideas for posts, stories and ways that I can improve myself going forward. It served as the perfect reminder of how each conversation, thought and interaction can inspire us in its own way 🕺🏼

Whether it’s the food that we eat or the people that we meet, there is no limit to what can influence our perspectives on life. If we can embed that magic into the content we create or the conversations that we have, the difference it can make is limitless.

Who knows what the future has in store – enter each day with an open mind and see where it takes you. Whether it’s saying yes to that coffee or booking a lovely little weekend away, you never know what might happen in the grand scheme of things.
