Passing 60,000 Views 🥳

I’m delighted to announce, as of last Tuesday, we have officially passed over 60,000 views here on the page, which is absolutely crazy! We’re going to be exploring some of my thoughts surrounding this news in today’s blog.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

Starting Sweeney’s Blogs back in February 2019, I cannot believe how far the page, in addition to the community that we are building, has come over the last five and a years. With over 600 blogs published on here, with two new blogs still coming each week, the sheer volume of stories and topics we have covered is incredible, and there is still an endless source left to venture into.

I never thought we’d get over 100 views, to have achieved over 20,000 unique visitors from over 140 countries spanning the globe just does not sound real, however, that is the reality of the mission and platform that we are shaping. When I created Sweeney’s Blogs, I didn’t want to make an isolated website, I wanted to help shape a community.

I wanted to build a judgement-free zone where people could come and talk about the topics that genuinely matter to them. The vision was to create an environment where people could share their stories, supporting one another and raising awareness to not only the difference that make us individuals, but the commonalities that define us as a society – to watch that vision continue to become a reality is simply outstanding.

To my writers, Giles, Isha, Matthew and Tom, thanks for all of the time and care that you’ve put in to help grow the page. I cannot wait to carry on seeing you each develop as writers, realising the insane potential that I know you all have in life. To everyone who has supported Sweeney’s Blogs along its journey, thank you so much, the page wouldn’t be here without you 💙
