A Solo Cabaret Trip? πŸ‘€

Good morning πŸ‘‹

How are you doing today?

I’m currently up in London for my final weekend away in 2025! We’re going to be taking a brief look at one of the things I have planned, and how my views have changed on things like this today with you all.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

When it comes to planning my London trips, I always try to make sure I see as many different people as possible- you’ve got to make the most of your time on these trips at the end of the day, haven’t you?

However, people aren’t always going to be around on your trips. Sometimes, everybody that you ask may be busy – it’s nobody’s fault, it’s just the way it is. Life gets busy, people have plans, and we have to make a decision as to what we do next.

These types of situations used to really terrify me. I’d think that I was by myself in a different place, with nothing to do and nobody to see. How that’s changed over the last couple of years, aye πŸ˜‚

Now, I see it as an opportunity for a little solo adventure, a self-care trip, a solo date – whatever you want to call it. While I tried to fill the plans, it didn’t work out as planned, so I went back to the drawing board and saw what else I could do as a replacement.

So, tonight, instead of staying in my Airbnb by myself, I’m going to go out and see a show. As I’m in London, it’s the perfect excuse to check out a West End Show, which is exactly what I’m going to go and do. I’m going to see the renowned musical Cabaret live, which I’m sure is going to be amazing!

I’ll, of course, be dropping a full recap on my London trip soon, which will deffo include a little mention as to how Cabaret went, don’t you worry. Until then, all that’s left to say is I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

That’s all for today. What do you think? Have you got much planned for this weekend? Do you enjoy going on little solo adventures from time to time?

I’d love to hear your thoughts ‡️

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!

James
