Good morning π
How’s your day going so far?
Last week, I went to London for my final trip of 2025, which coincidentally ended up being my longest time spent there too. We’re going to be taking a look at some of what I got up to in today’s blog.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
For those of you who know me or have been following the page for a while, you know that I try to go to London every three months or so.

These trips end up being super busy, ranging from working to seeing friends, being a tourist and catching some of the sights, to going to watch shows on the West End – with this weekend being no do different, of course π
Okay, so here’s some of what I got up to this time around:
π€ Catch-Ups and Good Times – I managed to catch up with so many people over this weekend, whether it was my friends James and Ollie, who I originally met in uni, where we had some cracking food at Indian Zhing, seeing my friend Josh for a well overdue chat at Battersea Power Station, or meeting up with Max and Katie to see some bookshops, I’m super happy with it all.

π¨βπ» Co-working and Collaboration – Heading up to London on Wednesday afternoon, James, India, and I got to work in the office as a full Real View Marketing team for the first time. Heading into Thursday, we got to meet up with Patrick and Jo, who we work with on 300 Consultancy, helping plan the marketing plan for 2026.
On Friday, then, I went over to Farringdon to work with three of my friends, Gareth, Ryan and Francesca at Old Sessions House, which was a great laugh. I did nearly end up getting locked in a random room in the building, but thankfully, we figured it out π
π Parties and Christmas Vibes – On Friday evening, a load of us from the Undefinable Community met up for our 2025 Christmas Dinner, which ended up being a brilliant night. Reflecting over the last 12 months, predicting what 2026 is going to have in store and celebrating how far we’ve all come, well, safe to say, it was a very wholesome night, as you’d expect.

π West-End Wonders – On Saturday, I went to watch the show Cabaret live at the Kit Kat Club. I hadn’t seen Cabaret before watching it on the West End, so what a surprise and fantastic show it turned out to be. What really helps make the Kit Kat Club stand out as a venue too is how they make it into a full experience, with dancers, cocktails and more to properly set the atmosphere.
These weekends always end up being a crazy laugh, thankfully – hereβs to loads more to come in 2026 π»
That’s all for today’s blog. What do you think? How’s your week been? What’s been the highlight of it so far?
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a lovely day!
James
