On Thursday 14th January 2021, I turned 22 years old! I was simply amazed at how many kind messages and birthday wishes that got sent through to me on Thursday, so I thought I’d write a blog to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you! We are living in very uncertain times at the moment, and it’s things like this that fill me with hope for what’s to come in the future!
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
As I mentioned in the intro to this blog, Thursday was my 22nd Birthday! Despite being stuck in lockdown and not being able to do much, compared to other years, I still had a great day! What usually makes a birthday so good for me is having the chance to catch up with some of my family and friends, and although that could not be done in the same way that we usually do it, it was still an amazing day all the same.
I was very surprised to see all of the really kind messages and birthday wishes come in, and it was a very heart-warming thing to experience. Last year was such a tough year for so many, and it is when people come together like this, that never fails to put a smile on my face and makes each day that little bit better!
I would also like to take a minute to thank each and every one of you, my readers here at Sweeney’s Blogs! In a months time, the page is going to be turning 2 years old, which is absolutely insane! When I first started this page, back in February 2019, I could have never anticipated the rate of growth that would soon happen. The page has been doing so well over these past 2 years, and I am very very grateful for it!
If we can get this much done in a 2 year timespan, who knows what we’ll be able to achieve in the next 2, 5 or even 10 years! This page would not be here if it wasn’t for all of you, and I do really appreciate it. I have nearly posted at least 2 blogs each week for the past 104 weeks, which looking back, I don’t really now how I’ve done it, but you can be sure that the page is not going anywhere anytime soon!
I’m not currently sure if I am going to be starting a new blog series on the page in the next few weeks, but if I do, I will let you all know and will keep you updated. I am debating over taking a week off of posting somewhere in the near future, there’s nothing wrong with me, don’t worry, I just think a little break may do me well, to help get some recharge time in. If I do decide to take the week off, I will let you all know with of notice, I hope that’s okay!
That’s all I want to talk about in today’s blog! Thank you all again for the lovely birthday messages and for the continued support on the page, it does go a long way! How is everybody doing? I know this lockdown feels a lot worse than the others, due to the temperatures being a lot colder, the weather being a lot bleaker and the fact that it is so dark and dreary out, so if I can help with anything, please do let me know!
