I am absolutely delighted to announce that Sweeney’s Blogs now has a band new logo! I have been wanting to do a rebrand for a while now, as the old logo didn’t fit my image for the page anymore, and I could not be happier with the result! This is exactly what we are going to be taking a look at in today’s blog!
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
A logo is a graphic, made up from a collection of images and text, which helps us identify a brand. Logos help your customers in understanding who you are, what you do, and what your values are. I’ve been running Sweeney’s Blogs for over 2 years now, and in that time we have always had the same logo. Even though there is nothing wrong with that logo, I’ve been wanting to do a rebrand for a while, as I didn’t feel like the logo aligned with the page’s identity.

Back in May last year, Kate Owen, a good friend of mine, created a Cover Photo for the page, which you can see above. Kate did a fantastic job with bringing the page to life, with a colourful, eye-catching and vibrant graphic, which perfectly summed up the page. It was from Kate’s design, that my idea for the new logo came about.
Kate helped put me in touch with Aaron, who was the one who created our new logo. I sent Aaron a list, with what I was looking for, and some of the ideas that I had in mind, and then we started having a chat about how we can convert my ideas into a reality.

What I was hoping to do was to use our Cover Image as a base, which we could then work off to help create the new graphic. This is exactly what we did end up doing, and I think it is very safe to say that Aaron has done an incredible job! The new logo, both matches with the Cover image, and perfectly aligns with my vision of what I want the page to be! I couldn’t be happier with the new designs for the page, and I really hope that all of you like them too!
Before I close off today’s blog, I want to say a massive thank you to Aaron for all of his work on this, it’s than I could have ever imagined! If you would like to see more of Aaron’s work. be sure to check out his Instagram page here.
