Let’s talk about being open…

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend so far!

I like to consider myself as being a very open & honest person here on the page, but I can definitely say that there are some times when that is not a very easy thing to do. We’re going to be taking a look at this in more detail in today’s blog!

Hello & Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

I would say that over the years, I have become a very open & honest person, but it hasn’t been an easy journey. There have been days in the past where I would never have dreamed of getting to the stage that I am at now, and you see, it’s all a part of the adventure. Being open for me was not just as easy as flicking a switch, it was all about changing my perspective.

Even though I have come a long way already, there are still days when I don’t feel comfortable sharing stuff, and that is completely fine. It’s natural to have the odd off day or a time where you are not feeling yourself, it’d not something that we should be continually stressing over. That being said, however, if you do experience an extended period of time where things do not feel right, or you feel like you need some extra support, that is completely okay too.

We as people are continuously growing – we are always finding new ways to think and adapt to various scenarios. You may find that on one given day, you feel like you really want to share stuff with people, and another day where you don’t – both of which are 100% okay.

At the end of the day, we are all on this crazy journey that we call life, you’ll find your way, I know you will. Being open & honest has not always come very easy to me, but it has changed my life. I’ve learnt so so much from making mistakes & going wrong in life, I don’t think I could ever write down all of the lessons that I have learnt already.

No matter where you are along this whacky ride, be proud of the adventure that you have had so far – we are living in a very uncertain time, never forget to give yourself a pat on the back for getting to where you are today 🙂

That’s all for today’s blog, what do you think? What’s the proudest obstacle that you have overcome? What sort of blogs would you like to see on the page?

Be sure to let me know your answers to the above questions, either in the comments below or through your Facebook page!

Thank you all for reading & I hope you have a lovely day!
