Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

As someone very passionate about supporting others, I strongly believe in the power of mentorship to shape careers and foster a culture of continuous learning. In a world brimming with opportunities and challenges, having a mentor can make an invaluable difference.

It’s in that spirit that I’m delighted to announce that I’ve joined the team at One Million Mentors as a mentor!

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have had mentors such as Polina and Jurek throughout my life. Whether it’s been for guidance and direction, working on my self-confidence, providing motivation and inspiration or something else entirely, there is no limit to the potential difference that a mentor can make in your life.

If I can recreate even a fraction of the value that my mentors have instilled in me along my journey, then I really cannot ask for more from the whole experience. Over the years, I’ve had my fair share of mentors, also mentoring others wherever I possibly can, so I am looking forward to seeing how my mentoring style adapts and the positive snowball effect that it will have on other parts of my personal and professional life.

Mentorship is a two-way street, and I’m eager to contribute my experience and insights, while also learning from the unique perspectives of my mentees. I cannot wait to watch my mentees grow, unlocking their full potential and making a real difference to the world.
