Passing over 50,000 total views…

A couple of weeks back, we passed over 50,000 total views here on Sweeney’s Blogs, which is absolutely phenomenal! We’re going to be taking a look at some of my thoughts surrounding surpassing this milestone in today’s blog.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

When I first started this page, back on the 3rd of February 2019, I had no idea what I was getting myself in for. I didn’t think that my page would ever pass 1,000 total views, so to have achieved 50 times that is mind-blowing.

Watching my little blog continue to go from strength to strength has been a sheer pleasure, I couldn’t be prouder of its journey so far. This is just the beginning, I have no plans to stop running the page anytime soon, so it’s pretty safe to say that I cannot wait to see what the future has in store.

Looking ahead to 2024, I’m going to start looking for some extra guest writers for the page. I feel like it will be an incredible way to share additional perspectives, tackling a number of topics from all different angles, helping to shine a real and well-rounded vision for what the world is currently like, as well as the difference that we can make to each other’s lives as we look towards the future.

Running Sweeney’s Blogs has honestly changed my life, allowing me to:

Connect, engage and network with so many incredible and inspirational people from all over the world
Develop my self-confidence and writing skills tremendously
Learn such a lot about myself, others and society as a whole
Share my stories and experiences to hopefully help others who find themselves in similar positions.

When I first started the page, I didn’t want to create a singular blog, I wanted to build a community – a safe space where people can come together to talk about what genuinely matters to them. To watch that vision become a reality each day, well, who could ask for more?! 🤩

Before I close off today’s blog, I wanted to take a minute to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you that has helped the page along its journey so far – I honestly couldn’t do it without you!
