Gooood morning 👋
How’s your weekend started off?
It’s going to be a super exciting one for me, and as you can tell by the title of this blog, I have an awesome trip that’s starting bright and early tomorrow morning. Let’s take a closer look at that in today’s blog.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
I’ve been working with the team at No Boring Brands for four months now, which feels like it has flown by in the blink of an eye. There is something that’s come a little unexpectedly from it all, though…
I’ve been planning on heading back out to the States for a cool trip in 2027 (more info to come on that soon), but it seems like that’s not my only return that’s coming for me, as I’ll be heading to Baltimore tomorrow.
After working remotely for the last four months, and indeed, in remote positions for the last 18 months, this is going to be my first time working in the office for nearly a full week in a very long time. This all feels pretty strange; I won’t lie to you 👀
A little part of me is nervous – I mean, who wouldn’t be in this case? However, I’m mainly super, super excited to see what the next couple of days have in store for me – this trip is such a fantastic opportunity, and it’s one I don’t want to take lightly.
I’ll be honest, I don’t really know what to expect, which is very unusual for me, as I usually have a plan for things.
Like a lot of life over the past few months, I’m just going to go into things with a very positive and open mind and see what happens. I’m sure it’s going to be a crazy week, and I reckon I’m ready for whatever it has in store.
You know that I’ll always keep you guys updated on how it all goes – stay tuned next week for some updates!
My Monday blog is going to be a big one for me – it’s a story that I tell every year, and one that means a lot to me, so please be sure to check that out while I’m away, and let me know what you think. I’ll have my laptop with me, so nothing really changes, except for my time zone.
Thanks a million for reading. Have a fantastic weekend and week ahead, and I shall catch you very soon 💙
