Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you’re all keeping well 🙂
Alongside the start of each new year, comes the perfect opportunity to reflect back on the last 12 months, thinking back over everything that has happened and the growth that you’ve experienced along the way, while so preparing for whatever 2024 has in store for us all. So, with all of that being said, what are my resolutions for the year ahead – let’s take a look at them in today’s blog.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
When it comes to setting New Year’s Resolutions, I always like to try to keep mine as realistic, yet also growth-filled as possible. While I think that it is good to test yourself and to always look to broaden our horizons wherever we can, I feel like the best way to do this is to balance your different goals – with some being shorter-term, others longer, some easier to achieve, others a little more difficult.

With that in mind, here are some of my goals for 2024: ⤵️
✍️ Carry on writing the bulk of my first book – this is something that I have been making some cracking progress on so far, I’ll be sure to keep you all in the loop with more info when I am closer to finishing a first draft
🗣️ Continue improving my speech fluency and control over my stutter
🛫 Have my first solo holiday – I’m not 100% sure where that’s going to be yet though, I’m thinking somewhere like Portugal or Italy at the moment
👋 Meet up with more amazing LinkedIn connections in person
📚 Read at least 50 different books – I managed 52 last year, so hopefully I can follow suit this year!
These are some of my goals for the year, what about you? Do you have many plans or resolutions for the next 12 months? Is there a skill or trick that you’ve always wanted to learn, but haven’t taken a chance on before?
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts, and I’ll be sure to keep you updated on how the goals are progressing as we move through 2024!
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a cracking weekend!
