Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you’re well 🙂
Last weekend, 23 of us from an incredible group I’m a part of, called the Undefinable Community, travelled to Suffolk for our Spring 2024 retreat. We’re going to be taking a look at how the trip went in today’s blog.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
As a group, we do what we call retreats four times a year – they act as breaks where we can come together and have some overdue catch-ups, while playing games, having meaningful conversations and supporting one another as we progress through life. You may remember that I went to Hereford for our Winter retreat (we sometimes call them weekenders) in January earlier this year.

If you haven’t heard of the Undefinable Community before, here is a little intro for you. We are here to bring together young change makers – multipotentialites who see themselves as more than just their job title – to collectively empower every individual’s creativity, authenticity and capability. Multipotentialities refer to people who have potential in more than one different area:)
Although the drive there was long (the classic M25 experience), taking me over seven hours, it was all well worth it. I mean I can’t complain, Karl, one of our newer members, flew all the way over from Norway to come along to the trip. Talk about commitment!
Here’s some of what we got up to:
🧘♂️ Meditation and mindfulness exercises
🏓 Loads of ping pong, country walks and tennis – let’s not talk about my tennis skills, please, they are in desperate need of some fine polishing…
👐 Loads of time to chat to and connect with incredible people from all walks of life
👀 We shared our plans for where we are going to be taking the community over the next 12 months – it was great to practise the old presentation skills
I could not be more grateful to be a part of such an inspiring and incredible group of people. To be able to share what makes us human, celebrating both the highs and the lows with you all is phenomenal 🙏
Everybody brings their full selves to these trips – we collectively reflect on our journeys, thinking back on where we’ve come from, on the challenges and lessons we’ve encountered along the way, which have all helped shape us into the people we are. Having a safe space that facilitates these conversations with ease is, well, words wouldn’t do it justice.

I’m the community’s Welfare Officer and it’s my job to help ensure that every member feels heard and valued in the group, helping to foster a greater sense of community and ensuring that everybody is having the best time possible. Overseeing the welfare of such an inspiring bunch of people is a sheer pleasure, as I’m sure you can imagine.
Perfect weather, immaculate vibes and outstanding food – what more can you ask for?! ❤
I cannot wait for the next trip to come around already, it’s going to be so good!!
That’s all for today’s blog, what do you think? What’s one thing that you are feeling grateful for lately? Would you like to see more blogs on the Undefinable Community moving forward?
I’d love to hear your thoughts ⤵️
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!
