Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you’re all keeping well 🙂
Two weeks ago, 20 of us from a group I’m part of, called the Undefinable Community, headed to South Downs for our 3rd weekend trip of the year. We will be looking at some of what we got up to in today’s blog.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
As a group, we do what we call breaks, what we like to call “retreats”, four times a year – they act as breaks where we can come together and have some well overdue catch-ups, while playing games, having meaningful conversations while supporting each other as we progress through life.

If you haven’t heard of the Undefinable Community, here is a little intro. We are designed to bring together young change makers – multipotentialites who see themselves as more than just their job title – to collectively support one another wherever we can. The term multipotentialite refers to people who have potential in more than one different area 🙂
It was my first time camping in over 13 years, and while I was a little nervous at first, it was so worth it 🏕️
Here’s some of what we got up to ⤵️
🎉 Celebrated the first anniversary of the community and how far we’ve all come over the last 12 months. I might do some extra posts on the community going forward, it’ll be great to share more of the work we do and the plans that we’ve got
🪵 Had some lovely fireside chats and conversations, while making our own smores
🏃♂️ Held our own version of Sport’s Day – come on the blue team
🚣 I tried paddle boarding for the first time – it’s very safe to say that I need to work on my balance. Although I must have called off about 30 times, it was so much fun to give it a go!
🧘 Visited a Buddhist temple and had a mindfulness session with a practising monk
I couldn’t be more grateful for the community we are building, all of the time, energy and care invested is so worth it. Looking forward to our next retreat in October already 👐
Incredible views, inspiring people and immaculate vibes – what more could you ask for?!
That’s all for today’s blog, what do you think? Who is somebody you’ve been grateful for recently? Would you like to see more posts about communities?
I’d love to hear your thoughts ⤵️
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!
