When was the last time you reflected on what you’re truly grateful for in your life? 🤔
Now, that might seem like a simple question, however, taking a moment to genuinely think about it can reveal so much about what matters most to you. It’s so easy to get caught up in the rush of daily life and overlook the small moments, people, or experiences that bring us joy and fulfilment. We’re going to be taking a closer look at this in today’s blog.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
With Thanksgiving falling on Thursday in the United States, it’s a great opportunity to think about what we are thankful for in our lives. I know I’ve started to talk about positivity, mindfulness and reflection a lot more on the page over the last two years or so, and this is something I’m planning on carrying forward a lot more heading into the future.

This year, I’ve been lucky enough to host sessions with two very good friends of mine, Alex and Molly, exploring topics such as joy, gratitude and positivity. With this in mind, I encourage you to try and take some time this week to reflect on some of the following questions:
💪 What’s one challenge you’ve overcome, that you felt nervous about at the time, however, are glad to have overcome?
😄 When was the last time you felt joy?
👐 Who is one person you’re grateful for in your life? Why are you grateful for them in particular?
Gratitude isn’t solely about the big things – it’s about noticing the small, meaningful moments that bring joy to your life. These little moments, often overlooked, remind us of the beauty in our everyday lives and help us develop a more positive outlook on the world around us.

That’s all for today’s blog, what do you think? I’d love to hear your reflections and answers to the above questions ⤵️
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!
