Experiment With Gratitude

Be Inspired..!!

When was the last time you said “thank you”? With all your heart? Everybody preachesthat an “attitude of gratitude” is the key to success, but very fewreallypractice it. Well, start by experience gratitude first, as in doing an experiment with it, and take it from there.

I once did a gratitude experiment. I decided to write down at the end of the day all the things I was grateful for. I created a sort of a gratitude journal. Didn’t plan in advance what to write, went with the flow. Each evening, five minutes.

After 30 days I re-read it. I was amazed by this simple fact: the things I was grateful for grew from one day to another. It was like feeding them with my gratitude. Looking back after 30 days made it obvious: I experiencedmore of what I was grateful for in my life.

Expressing gratitude doesn’t cost you…

Writing an Achievement/Gratitude List

A couple of weeks back, I got challenged by my professional mentor, Polina, to start writing an Achievement/Gratitude List, which is a list of all of the accomplishments and achievements that I am proudest of in my life.

I’ve never really done anything like this before, and found that it has had a very large positive impact on how I see myself.

Let’s take a bit of a closer look at this in today’s blog!

Today is Going to be a Good Day!!

I woke up today in an absolutely amazing mood. I had a very late lie-in today, and as soon as I opened my curtains, all I could see was blue sky and the sun shining down. We don’t see sunny weather all that often in the Swansea Valley’s, and as it has been so bitterly cold recently, it was a very welcome surprise for me today.

The way that something so simple like the weather can have such a positive change on your mood never ceases to amaze me. I find that when the sun is out, I am naturally a lot happier, more energetic and more productive. So with all that being said, I know that today is going to be a good day!

Today’s blog is going to look at checking in with people, and why it is so crucial that we do so, especially in these uncertain times.

Check-in with People This Winter

I think it’s safe to say that 2020 has been a very unusual year. As lockdown and the wave of disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic continues, it is so important to check-in to see how people are doing, especially as we are entering into the winter months.

A simple check-in here and there, when you can, can make the world of difference to somebody’s day, and even their life, and that’s what we’ll be talking about in today’s blog!

Choosing Joy Over Despair — WILDLY FREE ELDER

“Yet, within the wounds, rather like the tree in the image above, there is new growth and opportunities to re-frame our perspective and turn our attention to moments of joy and small pleasures. New growth that finds its compost from what has died or changed, and leaves us with clarity, a new found direction and hope. A perspective coming from interconnection – not separation. “

What do we mean by Success – Blog 18: Your Personal Growth?

As people go through life, they quite often change, develop and grow. Life is one big learning curve at the end of the day and personal growth is essential to people. There’s always a lesson to be learned in life & they don’t always just show a mistake that has been made, but also an evaluation and modification that was made, as a result of the so called mistake. In saying that, can one’s personal growth be used as a measure of how successful or not they are in life?

This is what we’ll be looking at in today’s “What do we mean by Success?” blog!
