I’ve got a new job ðŸ¥³

Good afternoon,

How’s the start of your week going?

Three months ago, I was back on the job search, waiting to see what my next role was going to be. Today, I get to tell you that I’ve joined my friend Aidan and the team at No Boring Brands as an Account Manager.

What does all of this mean? Don’t worry; that’s exactly what we’ll be taking a look at in today’s blog.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

Four years ago, I met Aidan on this wonderful platform, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have a friend like him in my life.

Of course, you’d have probably seen that he was the first person to feature in my new series two weeks back! I’d planned that blog way bfore talks of this even began – it’s strange how life can work out sometimes.

Anyways, I’ve had the pleasure of watching No Boring Brands grow over the last few years, cheering the team on from the outside. I knew Aidan before he started the business, and have loved chatting to him as it’s grown to where it is today.

So getting to join them now and help shape what we’re building within the comms space is pretty cool, to say the least. What is it that we do? Well, I; glad you asked 😉

We’re a humour-based marketing agency and boutique media company, based in the US. I’m the fifth full-time member of staff to join the craziness, and wow, what a ride it’s been so far. I’m starting my fourth week today, and it’s been a blast. I’ve loved getting to grips with how everything works and figuring out the ways I can really get stuck into the work we do.

To add a bit more context here, and to put it simply, we create content based around comedy. We dig into what frustrates our clients’ customers, then create comedy-inspired content that speaks directly to those pain points and shows how our clients can help solve them.

I’m looking forward to sharing more about the work we do, while chatting all things marketing, messaging and good vibes along the way – I can’t spill all of the details in one blog now, can I? 😉

Of course, I’ll keep you updated with how everything goes. Don’t you worry, I’m not going anywhere anytime soon.

What’s a piece of good news you’ve celebrated lately?

I’d love to hear your thoughts 😊

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a fab week ahead!

James
