Good afternoon everybody!
I hope you are all having an excellent start to the weekend!
The Festival of Learning Month is running throughout September 2021, so, in celebration of such a fascinating month, we are going to be looking at what it is, and how you can get involved, in today’s blog!
Hello & Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
The Festival of Learning Month is here at last, but what actually is it, I hear you ask? Well, it is a month-long national event that is designed to:
- Celebrate the achievements of people who have used learning to transform their lives
- Highlight the benefits of learning
- Encourage people to embrace learning in their life
It’s an event that originates & occurs in England, but I think it is something that we can all benefit from!

You see, I love learning, it’s something that I have always been fascinated by & have always tried to incorporate into my life wherever I can. Whether it’s learning about history, geography, science or anything else, I just find the concept of learning to be so incredible. I really like how there is always something new that we can learn, there is no limit to learning if we open up our minds to it!
How do you fancy giving the Festival of Learning a go this year?

Is there a language that you have always wanted to learn – why don’t you give it a go & see what happens?
Have you ever wanted to develop a brand new skill – why don’t you give it a try?
You know what they say, you never know what’s going to happen if you don’t give it a go, you could even surprise yourself!
Happy Festival of Learning Month Everybody!!
Thank you all for reading today’s blog, what do you think? Have you ever heard of the Festival of Learning before? Do you think you will give it a go this year? What does learning mean to you?
