What happens when you leap into the unknown?

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you’re keeping well 🙂

After everything that happened in 2023, I promised myself that I would make the most of life wherever I could. In the spirit of this, let’s check out how I have been leaping into the unknown and trying out a whole new set of things, massively pushing myself out of my comfort zone this year.

Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!

2024 has been a year filled with all sorts of different firsts for me. From meeting up with loads of friends to travelling to places, growing my self-confidence to learning a bunch of new things, it’s been a mad old ride. Here are a few highlights ⤵️

👐 Having a Self-Date Day in London – Watching West-End Live, talking to different people in Foyles and treating myself to a lovely meal made for a wonderful and wholesome day back in July. I didn’t think that this was something that I’d be able to do, let alone enjoy doing it, so to have had that experience ticked off a list was fab

🎤 Public Speaking – Going back to the Henley Business School to replicate something I found to be so valuable as a student was such a special and rewarding experience for me. It’s something I hope to do a lot more of going forward

🛫 Solo Holiday – Travelling to Porto by myself was terrifying at first, however, I ended up having the time of my life there, learning a lot about myself and just how much is possible in this crazy world that we live in along the way

2024 has taught me that taking a step, even an uncertain one, can open doors you didn’t even know were there.

Who knows what the future has in store, think of all of the opportunities waiting to be discovered. I will, of course, keep you guys updated every step of the way as we dive into the future, making the most of each day and opportunity that comes my way.

That’s all for today’s blog, what do you think? What’s a first you’ve experienced this year that you’re proud of? What step are you looking forward to taking next?

I’d love to hear your thoughts 😁

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!
