Good morning ๐
Hope you had a lovely weekend and are excited for whatever it is that this week has in store for us.
I talk a lot about time on the page and how we have to make the most of whatever life has in store for us. I’m quite an introspective person, and it’s something I thought I would bring into today’s blog for you all.
Hello and Welcome to Sweeney’s Blogs!
We’ve now entered November, and there are only around eight weeks left in 2025. While that may sound like quite a scary statement, we still have a lot of time to make a real, positive and tangible change in our lives.

I could spend ages about the importance of valuing your time, as well as that of others; however, I want to try it from a slightly different angle for today.
Instead of a long and highly self-reflective piece, I’m passing most of the work onto you. What does this mean? Well, fear not, it’s not as intimidating as it may appear at first. I want to challenge you, to spend a couple of minutes, either after reading this or sometime later today, to intentionally stop for a few moments.
In that time, I’d like you to reflect on some of the following questions:
๐ What do you need to let go of before you step into 2026 with a clear head and heart?
๐ What do you still want this year to mean for you?
๐ What do you want to be most proud of when the clock hits midnight on December 31st?
๐ Whatโs one small act of kindness you could do this month to end the year on a positive note?
๐ Who havenโt you caught up with yet that youโd love to see before New Yearโs?
I’m not asking these questions for you to feel bad or guilty about anything. It’s to make you think about how you can make the most of whatever this year has in store – I’m trying to encourage you to have an open conversation with yourself.

If you would like to share your thoughts with someone, please do. If you want to run them past me, that’s also completely okay. If you’d rather keep them to yourself, that is 100% chill too – it’s whatever makes you feel the most comfortable.
While taking time to answer these questions is important, it’s nowhere near as crucial as looking at what your answers mean. Are there small actions you can take to fulfil these new aims? Is there a message you can send, a person you can call, a task you can tick off the list? The only person who can honestly ask and respond to that question is yourself – don’t be afraid to allow yourself to do so.

I’m going to leave today’s blog there for now, a nice and simple one. What do you think? Would you like to see more blogs like this on the page? Are there any topics you’d like to see me explore?
I’d love to hear your thoughts ๐ญ
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!
James
