World Kindness Day 2021 is here, and what a fantastic day it is indeed! To commemorate such a special day, we are going to be taking a look at where it comes from, what it’s designed for & how you can get involved, all in today’s blog!

The quote above is a very powerful quote, wouldn’t you agree? Well, it’s one of my personal favourite quotes (it even formed the basis for my “The Power of Kindness” blog), and perfectly helps set the scene for World Kindness Day 2021, which is today, Saturday the 13th of November 2021.

World Kindness Day is a global national day designed to promote the importance of being kind to yourself, to each other & to the wider world. World Kindness Day is here to help remind us of the importance of compassion, and how kindness can unite us all, no matter the differences between us.

We can see from the video that kindness is such a contagious & loving thing to embrace in life. Random acts of kindness, no matter their size, make an incredible difference to so many lives and can be such a rewarding thing to try & do where you can. When you start performing these random acts, you have no idea of the positive butterfly effects that you have just put in motion, it’s crazy when you think about it.

A small gesture or task that you help somebody with can really change their lives. In the words of Scott Adams – “Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”
